It is suitable for use in rooms where increased ceiling clearance is desired, such as high ceilings or large open spaces. The downrod can be shortened in the field if needed, providing flexibility for your installation. For longer lengths, multiple downrods can be joined using the compatible downrod coupler (XF-I) to achieve custom heights beyond 72 inches.
