   - Make sure all finishes match and computer numbers end with (S) Satin Nickel or (W) White

STEP ONE: DESIGN YOUR T-TRAK SYSTEM

The first step in designing your T-Trak system is to determine what it is you are trying to light. You'll need to decide where the heads or pendants should be installed to put light where you want it. See Heads and Pendants for thumbnails of all available line-voltage and low-voltage fixtures. Refer to the indicated spec sheets for detailed specifications, including lamp type and maximum wattage. Choose your fixtures, then add accessories and optical controls, if desired. When ordering low-voltage fixtures for a T-Trak system, order a T-Trak FreeJack connector for each FreeJack low-voltage fixture.

A.  ELEMENTS (Pendants, Heads and Functional Art):
1a.  Click here to choose elements from TECH Lighting Line Voltage elements.
     b.  Determine part number(s) for line-voltage elements.
     c.  Choose Accessories and Optical Controls, if desired.

2a.  Click here to choose part number(s) for low-voltage FreeJack elements.
     b.  Order one T-Trak FreeJack connector for each FreeJack low-voltage element.
     c.  Click here to go to T-Trak FreeJack connector.
     d.  Choose Accessories and Optical Controls, if required or desired.

   3.  Choose lamps that do not exceed maximum wattage of element or accessory.

B.  FINISH:
Choose finish of system and make sure all components are specified as such.

C.  DRAWING:
Draw in your T-Trak run. Remember, T-Trak can be shaped by hand to follow architectural details or to create an organic shape. Factory pre-bent shapes are also offered in several configurations. Your T-Trak run should be placed so it intersects the locations of all the heads and pendants and runs directly beneath the ceiling junction box that will be used to power the system.

D.  LENGTH:

 1.  Measure length of T-Trak run. Click here to choose quantity and length of T-Trak.
   2
.  Click here to choose number of Rigid Standoffs with Connector, one for each connection
        point between track sections.
   3.  Click here to choose number of Rigid Standoffs without Connector, one for the center of
each 8’ track section plus two for the ends of the run.
   4.  Does the run include a sharp angle or turn?  If so, click here to specify a Flexible
        Connector
to make the turn and add 2 Rigid Standoffs without Connector (above).
Would you like the track to be custom bent at the factory? If so, please provide the degree and radius of each curve by
email to the quotes department at [email protected], or call 866.203.5392, for a quotation.

STEP TWO: ADD POWER AND HARDWARE TO COMPLETE THE SYSTEM

A.  POWER FEED CANOPY:
   1.  Determine how far below the ceiling the system will be dropped.
   2.  Choose a power feed canopy of the appropriate length and style. Select a Power Feed
Canopy Without Connector to power a system from any point along the track or Select a
Power Feed Canopy With Connector to power a system while joining sections of track
together end to end. The maximum standard drop for T-Trak is eight feet.

   3.  Click here to choose type of Power Feed (Various lengths available for each Power Feed
        model).
Note:  If using a power feed canopy “with connector" you can reduce your standoff with connector count by one.

B.  MOUNTING:
   1.  Click here to select Rigid Standoffs with Connector that match the drop of the Power Feed
Canopy. Add rigid standoffs with connector to join sections of T-Trak end to end while
supporting the system. Order one for each connection point between track sections. Select
the appropriate length to match the specified drop for the system.

   2.  Click here to add Rigid Standoffs without Connector to support the system. Order one for
the center of each 8' track section plus two for the ends of the run. This ensures support for
T-Trak every four feet. For especially curvy runs, order additional standoffs without
connector to support peaks of curves and heavy elements, as required. Select the
appropriate length to match the specified drop for the system.

Note: Standoffs and power feed canopies are field-cuttable, so it's easy to achieve a custom drop length.

   3.  For additional T-Trak system options, such as using adjustable standoffs.
Is the ceiling
vaulted? If so, click here to specify one Power Vault Adapter for each Power Feed Canopy.
Then click here to specify one Standoff Vault Adapter for each Standoff.

C.  SPECIAL:
This outline covers only the most common T-Trak applications, but T-Trak can do almost anything. For other system options, call us at 866.203.5392.

D.  CHECKLIST:
Make sure your bill of materials include:
   - Power Feed Canopy
   - Standoffs with Connector (one for each connection point between track sections)
   - Standoffs without Connector (one for the center of each 8' track section plus two for the ends
     of the run)
   - T-Trak
   - Elements—Line-voltage
   - Elements—Low-voltage; order one T-Trak FreeJack connector for each FreeJack element
   - Accessories and Optical Controls (available on each product)
   - Lamps— Lamps must not exceed maximum wattage of element or accessory
   - Make sure all finishes match and computer numbers end with (S) Satin Nickel or (W) White
